Phuti Maraba taught himself to code from a single Udemy course. It cost R200.

No computer science degree. No dev team. No playbook — just a self-taught developer working out of South Africa, figuring it out as he went.

Munchiez, the first venture, started from something personal: he kept missing out on food after class because he had to rush to catch the bus, with no time left to queue.
